Volunteering opportunities
2nd Chance Wildlife Care Center strives to provide education and personal growth experiences to members of the community through our volunteering program. We offer an up-close and personal one-on-one kind of experience with the wildlife at our facility. Our volunteers learn the importance of every animal and the role it plays in the environment around us, as well as the importance of making sure that wild animals remain just that ... WILD!
Volunteers at 2nd Chance will gets a hands-on experience while caring for the animals at our facility, and will learn how to safely handle the animals and care for the animals without imprinting on the animal. And volunteers will also get to experience the best part of wildlife rehabilitation as well when they get to see an animal that they helped care for be released back into the wild and live life freely as nature intended.

Once you have submitted your form you will still need to call 2nd Chance Wildlife Care Center and schedule a time when you can come in for an interview and to be trained.
